Common questions
Can you fit a kitchen I have bought from a supplier?
Yes, you’re welcome to buy your kitchen from your chosen supplier and have Kevin take care of the fitting. He fits both flat-pack and pre-assembled units, with careful attention to alignment, worktops and finishing details. Before you order, Kevin can review your plans and advise on measurements and any extra components needed to help the installation run smoothly.
How long does fitting a kitchen take?
A straightforward kitchen installation usually takes one to two weeks, depending on its size and the work involved. Changes to walls, flooring, plumbing or electrics may take longer. Kevin will discuss what’s needed and include an estimated timescale with your quote, keeping you informed if anything changes.
Can you make units fit an old or crooked wall?
Yes. Uneven walls are common in older Devon properties and don’t prevent a beautifully fitted kitchen. Kevin sets the units level and carefully shapes filler panels and worktops to follow the walls, creating a neat finish without unsightly gaps.
Do you fit worktops as well?
Yes. Kevin fits laminate and solid timber worktops, carefully cutting and finishing them on site for a precise fit. Stone and composite worktops are measured, templated and installed by your specialist supplier, with Kevin coordinating the kitchen fitting around their visits.
